John began with the university facilities electrical department in 2009 before coming to the Environmental Health and Safety Department in 2019. He has more than 20 years of experience in the electrical trade.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair campus emergency lights, exit lights, and smoke alarms
• Installation of conduit and wiring for life safety upgrades and repairs
• Conduct fire drills

Certifications:

• Electrical Journeyman License
• Fire Inspector I

Training:

• Nitrogen Generation/Fire Protection
