Occupant Load Request (Capacity)

The Request for Occupant Load (Capacity) form is for individuals or groups requesting rooms, spaces or enclosed areas be evaluated for occupant load per the International Fire Code. The occupant load is the number of people who may occupy a given area. Several factors are considered, but not limited to the occupancy type, number and distribution of exits and fire protection systems. The building design drawings, information provided on request and site visit will be used to determine occupant load.

Admittance of any person beyond the approved capacity of a building or a portion thereof shall not be allowed.

Requests must be submitted 72 hours prior to any event.
