Ross has worked with the university since 2009 and with the Environmental Health and Safety Department since 2013. He is a certified Lightning Protection Institute Master installer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain and repair lightning protection systems on campus
  • Installation of lightning protection systems in select facilities
  • Inspections and maintenance of kitchen suppression systems
  • Fire alarm system testing
  • Hydrostatic testing and recharge of fire extinguishers
  • Forklift training
  • Fire extinguisher training
  • Assist with conducting fire drills
